The most effective way to clean air ducts and ventilation systems is to employ Source Removal methods as recommended by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA).
Our state-of-the-art HEPA-filtered equipment removes dirt, dust, lint, mold, mildew, fungi and bacteria that can contribute substantially to upper respiratory problems, allergies and asthma. One of the unique things about Guardian Services is our ability to combine the time-tested old fashioned cleaning methods, such as disassembling portions of the ductwork for direct vacuuming, with the very latest in technology such as high pressure air whips, rotary brushes, and negative pressure vacuum collectors.

Our full system cleaning includes the blower section, interior cabinet, fan blades, filter section, evaporator coils, condensate pan, plenums, ductwork, grilles, and diffusers. The system can also be treated with an EPA-registered biocide to retard microbial growth.
Aging air handlers and duct systems can also contain deteriorating fiberglass insulation liner which has been proven to support microbial or fungal growth. Guardian's experienced and trained crews can completely remove this potential health hazard and replace the old liner with environmentally safe "Closed Cell" flexible foam insulation which is engineered to eliminate conditions which promote biological contamination.
