Richardson Restaurant Catches Fire | NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
A restaurant in Richardson is closed following an early morning fire Thursday.
Fadi’s Mediterranean Grill located in the 1600 block of N. Central Expressway caught fire in the middle of the night.According to Richardson Fire Battalion chief Kenneth Jacks, the fire was spotted by a passing motorist. The Richardson Fire Department also said that the roof of the building was Spanish tile which caused it to collapse into the center of the restaurant after catching fire. Fadi’s had been under renovation for the past year and has been open one month, according to Jacks.
The fire occurred during off hours and no one was hurt. Fire crews are standing by to make sure the hot spots stay out.
