The company is located in Dallas, Texas. It became Guardian Fire Reduction Co. in 1949 and also offered services to remove combustible accumulations of dust, lint, and other deposits from industrial superstructures, walls, ceilings, and machinery. In 1955 another division was added to provide the public and industry with professional cleaning of the latest technology of the day... central heating and air conditioning. 1963 ushered in the era of Guardian Power Cleaning, using pressure washing equipment for the first time. Light - years ahead of the competition, Guardian stood ready in the 1980's to take on the issues related to Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), which suddenly confronted the nation with problems such as Sick Building Syndrome, Legionnaire's Disease, and Microbial Contamination.
