Director of Operations
Nicholas Polson serves as the Director of Operations at Guardian Services, where he oversees scheduling, sales, and daily field operations for nearly 25 technicians across multiple service divisions. Originally from Garland, Texas, Nicholas joined Guardian in 2016 as an entry-level technician and steadily rose through the ranks—Supervisor, Sales Development, Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and now Director of Operations—reflecting nearly a decade of growth, discipline, and high performance inside one organization.
With a background in customer service leadership and technical support within hospitals, Nicholas brought both client-facing experience and technical aptitude to Guardian. Over the years, he has earned multiple industry credentials including OSHA, IKECA, NADCA, Scissor Lift, and Confined Space certifications. He has become known for his ability to multitask at scale—maintaining a full schedule weeks ahead, consistently exceeding monthly sales goals, leading crews to meet strict quality and safety standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction under the pressures of changing job demands.
Nicholas attributes much of his professional evolution to the mentorship of Guardian’s executive team—specifically Jamie Reeder and Roy Sotelo—who helped shape both his technical confidence and leadership approach. He describes his style as direct, precise, available, and grounded in the belief that consistent attendance and accountability from leadership sets the tone for the entire company.
Among his accomplishments, Nicholas is especially proud of helping grow Guardian from four crews to nearly nine, developing stronger operational structure and technician consistency, and securing high-value commercial air projects completed ahead of schedule during the height of the COVID-19 era. His long-term goal is to continue advancing within the company toward an officer position, contributing to its long-term legacy and expansion.
